Cockermouth crafters—ready to find your next creative direction? If you’ve never held a hook and want to try crochet before committing to a workshop, we have a spot for you this August at The Vicky! Discover the basics in a fun, zero-pressure 1-hour workshop. Have a go at holding a hook and yarn, learning a foundation chain and a few basic stitches as well as meeting some new people while you stitch. This course takes place every Tuesday morning and on the first Saturday of every month. We encourage participants to bring their craft/fashion/textile projects new or old, which need some professional support. We offer invaluable professional tips to ensure you develop your design and making skills under our expert guidance. We can offer advice on techniques for you to create a professional finish.
