The local Cockermouth leisure centre with is pool, classes and gym has been responsible for more than one athlete competing on the world stage! Run as a Community Enterprise its just the place to do the reps, burpees or lengths!
Majic Bingo on the Main Street is a recent addition to the town and its here you can find arcade machines, a game of Housey, Housey (or bingo) a snooker table and a refreshing bar!
Cockermouth is also blessed with Cricket, Rugby – both sorts- and footballs clubs which cater for all ages and abilities!
Cockermouth Golf Club is situated 3 miles east of Cockermouth. You are surrounded by excellent views including Skiddaw, the Lorton Fells, Scotland and even, weather permitting, the Isle of Man.
We offer Bingo sessions on a weekend initially when more people come this could extend to week days as well. A small function room to hold any events through the year – such as Christenings, Birthday parties etc and a much larger function room opening in Sept.
Located in the market town of Cockermouth, the Leisure Centre boasts a state of the art gym, a superb 25m pool and offers children’s swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.
