Cockermouth RUFC is a forward thinking organisation using sport to create a community hub of physical activity & sporting opportunities for people of all ages & abilities.
A range of facilities are open to public to hire including a bar/function room, dining room, kitchen and playing fields.
Cockermouth RUFC is a forward thinking organisation using sport to create a community hub of physical activity & sporting opportunities for people of all ages & abilities. Firstly we provide rugby union training & competitive games for boys & girls aged 5 to 17 & adults aged 17 to 58. A group of 18 male & 2 female coaches & volunteer support group of approx 20 ensure the facility can operate on a daily basis. As a sporting community hub we provide facilities for Cockermouth Tennis Club, Cockermouth Archery Club, Chance Camp School Holiday Sports Camp and a adult dance group. Our organisation wishes to expand to create more physical & social opportunities, having a positive effect on the well being of our local community. We offer our facilities for social bookings.
