Cockermouth Town Hopper Bus Service
The Cockermouth Town Hopper is the perfect way to avoid tired legs or parking hassles and pick up everything you need in Cockermouth.
Whether you’re heading into the centre for some shopping, or to eat and drink, it’s a really easy way to get around.
It’s an hourly service which runs between 8am and 5pm (though there’s no bus at noon). The circular route covers Strawberry How, Towers Lane, Vicarage Lane, Windmill Lane, Gable Avenue, Highfield Road, Gallowbarrow, Fitz Road, Mayo Street, Brigham Road, and all arrivals and departures stops are on Main Street.
The journeys cost £1.50 for a single trip, £2.50 for a return, or £3 for a day hopper which means you can travel as many times as you like. Concessionary travel applies on this service too, which is great news for those of you who have a bus pass.
