The chance to be part of the Cockermouth Town social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok where we have more than 9,000 followers. We’ll share your posts and help promote your activities. You can post your business profile on this website, which has around 11,000 views each month and consistently ranks at the top of the first page of Google. It’s packed with business listings, town information and live music and events, and we’re creating a new attractions section too.
You’ll also feature on the website’s interactive map with a click through to your business. You’ll feature in the monthly Cockermouth Town e-newsletter, delivered to almost 4,000 subscribers, when you join. You’ll benefit from the Chamber’s recent purchase of the map boards, strategically located all around town, which have maps for visitors to purchase, and a QR code to link to the online interactive map.
You can take advantage of advertising opportunities in the Cockermouth Town magazine, delivered to all CA13 postcodes three times a year, with extra copies going to holiday accommodation and other outlying villages. Our current print run is 10,000. You will also be included in editorial features when appropriate, whether that’s as part of a photoshoot, or in a targeted showcase of a business sector.
Your business can get involved in other marketing initiatives, in the e-newsletter, on the website, and in print, on social media and in videos. We organise events like the Spirit of Christmas late night shopping and Charities Week, and support other festivals like Taste Cumbria and Cockermouth Live! You’ll be included on the Chamber’s mailing list which means we can give you early updates on things like roadworks and Council initiatives, and keep you in the loop with the activities of other organisations in the town.
If you want to be hands-on, we’d love it if you joined the Chamber Executive group which meets monthly. You can have as much input as you’d like. You’ll also benefit from the Chamber’s great links with the local media which sees Cockermouth feature in newspapers, magazines, on the radio and on television. We’re always looking for more business people to go on air!
