Koppers is a modern twist on the tradition – nestled within the heart of Cockermouth, in the towns former Police Station. Known for it’s vibrant atmosphere, selection of cocktails and a delightful range of drinks, all served by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Our drink selection is impressive, with an extensive array of cocktails, spirits, wine and draught beer and ciders. It’s an ideal place for casual meet-ups, special gatherings and weekend chills, with one of the standout features of Koppers being is it’s outdoor spaces. The front area is a lovely sun trap, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxed afternoon, or out the back offers a picturesque retreat beside the River Cocker.
Hosting regular weekly events – quiz night on a Wednesday and live music on a Friday evening. You can also book Koppers for private functions and we are a dog-friendly bar too!
