Step back in time and explore Wordsworth House and Garden in the Cumbrian town of Cockermouth. This immaculately preserved Georgian townhouse was the birthplace and childhood home of romantic poet William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy.
We offer Bingo sessions on a weekend initially when more people come this could extend to week days as well. A small function room to hold any events through the year – such as Christenings, Birthday parties etc and a much larger function room opening in Sept.
Located in the market town of Cockermouth, the Leisure Centre boasts a state of the art gym, a superb 25m pool and offers children’s swimming lessons for all ages and abilities.
For almost 200 years, we’ve been providing Cockermouth with a unique retail experience. We sell traditional home and hardware items and restored tools. In the back we have the original workshop that dates to the 1820s and is in situ from when it was last used in the 1950s.
