The gallery displays work by over 200 artists. Paintings, photographs, textiles, ceramics, glassware and jewellery. Well worth a visit.
Percy House gallery opened in May 2002. It is a grade II star Listed Building which dates back from 1390.
It’s unique features include the famous Tudor ceiling with Percy coat of arms, medieval panelling and inglenook fire place.
It’s seven rooms are the ideal setting for the unusual arts and crafts on display. The gallery hosts a large selection of work by over 200 Cumbrian and British artists ranging from jewellery and textiles to ceramics, paintings and photographs.
